Travel documents : identity card, passport and visa
Every French national (over or under 18) intending to use air transport including within national territory, must present either a national ID card or a current and valid passport.
Every minor, whatever their age, has to have either a valid ID card or a passport in order to leave the country. The “family book” is not sufficient.

Passport requirement to go to Morocco.
- For a private journey, a valid passport is required. A visa is not necessary.
- For an organised trip, a valid passport is required. If the holiday is organised by a recognised tour operator an identity card may be acceptable, although the Moroccan authorities can demand presentation of a passport at all times.
- For a child, a valid passport is required. Whether the child is accompanied by both parents, one parent, another person or alone, other documents can also be demanded (birth certificate, family record book, permission document, etc).
