FAQ – Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport Car Parks
1. Is the car park supervised?
No. Car parks are paying and unsupervised. Users remain responsible for their vehicles and personal belongings.
2. How do I enter and exit the car park?
At entry: take a ticket or use your subscription (card / license plate recognition depending on equipment). The barrier only allows one vehicle at a time; following another vehicle is prohibited.
At exit: advance payment is mandatory at automatic pay stations (inside and outside).
3. Which vehicles are allowed?
- Access limited to light vehicles ≤ 2.80 m in height.
- Prohibited: buses, trucks, oversized vehicles, motorhomes, caravans, trailers (unless prior written authorization).
- Maximum speed: 20 km/h.
4. What are the rates and payment methods?
- Rates are posted at entry, pay stations, and on the website.
- Payment possible at automatic pay stations (methods accepted depend on equipment).
- Lost ticket: flat fee €180 incl. VAT.
- Duplicate subscription card: €25 incl. VAT.
5. What happens if my flight is cancelled?
The car park is an independent service. No refund or discount for cancellations, suspensions or changes to flights.
6. What if the car park is closed for works?
- Subscription automatically extended pro rata for days of unavailability caused by the airport.
- No cash refunds.
- Exceptional goodwill gesture capped at 1 month may be granted once, upon written request.
7. What if I lose my subscription card?
- Declare the loss immediately.
- New card: €25 incl. VAT (regardless of cause).
- The old card is irreversibly deactivated.
8. Can I transfer my subscription to another vehicle?
Yes. License plate change possible: €25 incl. VAT (administrative fee). Operation is nominative, non-transferable, and does not extend the subscription period.
9. What are the penalties for fraud or irregular parking?
Fraud: regularization at due rate, penalty €250 incl. VAT, deactivation of subscription.
Dangerous/obstructive parking: fine, towing/impound at owner’s expense, invoicing of any repairs.
10. What happens if I leave my vehicle for a long time?
A vehicle is deemed abandoned after 45 days without movement (unless under valid subscription) or 15 days after subscription expiry without settlement. Procedure: formal notice, then towing/impound if necessary, at owner’s expense.
11. How can I make a complaint?
